SG United programme of Singapore Government; an Economic Powerhouse and a Regional Hub
Business Problem
To navigate the rapidly transforming business environment and lead disruptive innovations at work, SG United Program was launched to re-skill and up-skill the workforce and better position the country. The emphasis was on continuous learning and an enabling environment.
The program was run by Singapore Govt in collaboration with SAP Singapore and MSITEK was engaged to deliver this year-long program.
MSITEK SOLUTION
MSITEK conducted a thorough assessment of the requirements and aligned it with overall objectives of the Program. We designed a tailored solution to meet with the short-term and long-term goals incorporating a combination of learning experiences that included virtual, physical and experiential learning to deliver a comprehensive solution that addressed multiple objectives. Most importantly, we incorporated the fundamentals that facilitated continuous learning.
The solution included developing custom course content in Data Science and two-phased delivery comprising theory and hands-on experience. A combination of on-site and virtual trainers guided the academics and practical orientations, and handholding during evaluation and certification.
RESULTS
The engagement trained 100+ employees and close to 90% passed the evaluation post training, resulting in a solid line-up of trained data science personnel.
